Guest HairyPlateEater Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 For those that pop into live chat every now and then .... The 3rd party software vendor has today upgraded the software that this site uses for it's live chat feature. In order to get the live chat running in your browser following this upgrade, you will need to have the latest version of Java downloaded and installed on your PC. You can easily do this by visiting www.java.com and clicking the orange and white "Download Now" button at the top of the page, then following the on screen instructions. It takes no more than 5 minutes to upgrade your version of Java, and you wont be able to use the live chat function if you don't have the latest version installed. Any problems, give me a shout and I should be able to help you out. Paul Quote

Did you have MAC address filtering switched on? Hairy's the man to speak to regards to any Network problems every thing was set up as per the instruction books and then we fiddled with the setting in an attempt to get it working! I went as far as getting an IT man in to sort it out! three hours later he gave up and suggested that it was Norton that was causing the problems! Nortons gone, settings back to original settings and all up and running :) Quote
